The role of male writers in Urdu children’s literature of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa( in the context of published books)

Abstract

Literature reflects the conditions of its time. Literature exhorts man to follow the path of goodness and stay away from evil. This is also the case with children's literature. While creating literature for children, care should be taken to include the admonitions in it in a good manner so that the children are not bored. Undoubtedly, writing for children is an art and it is not an easy task. Perhaps this is the reason why the number of children's writers is less in Urdu literature as compared to other genres. This analysis is to some extent correct that in the beginning, our writers ignored this genre and acted carelessly, but in the 21st century, an increase in the promotion of children's literature was seen in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. In children's literature, it is most important that whatever is written is written for children. For children, such topics should be chosen which are the cause of their interest and prove helpful in their mental development.
