An overview of Linguistics affinities of Urdu and Gojri

Abstract

Urdu is national Language of Pakistan. So it has a close relation with the other local Language of Pakistan. Gojri is the major local Language which is spoken in difrent areas. Rather then other Languages, Urdu has a close linguistic relation with Gojri and it can be observed in many levels. This paper gives a brief introduction of Gojri, an Indo-Aryan Language encompassing its background and typolgical features. This Language is Gujjar Tribe specific Language that faced ups and down is the past. This article is based on the critical analysis of the resemblance between Urdu and Gojri.
