Thematic Study of Akhtar Raza Salimi's Novel"Gender"
Abstract
Akhtar Raza Salimi has a unique identity as a poet. Along with poetry, he has also spent his pen power in the field of novels, editing and criticism. Despite making his mark in poetry, he was not very satisfied with it. Therefore, he turned to prose and so far two of his novels have been published. The first "Jage Hain Khabam Mein" which was published in 2015 and the second “ Jinder” which came out in 2017. Akhtar Salimi presents the water-powered jinder as a symbol of the thousand-year-old civilization of the Hazara villages of "Kikot". The word Jinder refers to a water mill. This article presents a thematic study of the novel "Gender".
