A Thematic Study of Manu Bhai’s Serial Drama "Pagal, Aehmaq, Bewafuk"
Abstract
Manobhai does not need any introduction in Urdu drama. He is one of the playwrights of Pakistan, who gave drama the shape of a movement, and made it a part of Pakistani culture. The drama serial "Pagal, Mofool, Bewafuk" consists of three volumes and fifteen episodes and the duration of each episode is fifty minutes. This drama revolves around three main characters. Among them, Masihuddin, who is a doctor by profession. The second is Mohabbate Ali Khan who is a film director and the third is Danish who is a professor and his full name is Professor Waqar Ahmed Danish. To create interest in the drama, two characters are also presented who are very close to each other but both have different religions. Jaa is in love. Hamid is a doctor in her hospital, and he is deeply in love with her. Their families and traditions are completely different, which makes them feel that they will never meet each other.
