Abstract

Majeed Amjad is one of the most famous poets who gave a new twist to poetry in Urdu modern poetry. Majeed Amjad experimented with new forms and themes in his poetry. He has shown different aspects of life in his poems. For him, the idea of death goes hand in hand with life. He finds metaphors of life and death in his daily observations. Oriental traditions, metaphors related to home are often seen in his Poetry. Majeed Amjad also used Hindi words frequently. Majeed Amjad is primarily a poet of poetry. His poetry shows an element of modernity, feeling of loneliness and wonder. Majeed Amjad experimented with all dimensions in poetry. "Shab Gradually" is a testimony to the fact that he experimented with the new nature of poetry and the new language of poetry. These experiences gave new freshness and growth to his poetry. The last few years of Majeed Amjad's life were full of creative considerations. In the last period, he wanted to reach his reader's heart and mind in an untouched manner in such a way that he began to feel the prevailing qualities incomplete.
